How Hydronox® UV Disinfection Works

Water passes through a heavy-duty stainless-steel UV chamber where microorganisms are exposed to UV-C radiation at ~254 nm. The UV energy disrupts their DNA/RNA structure, preventing cellular reproduction and providing rapid microbial inactivation without adding chemicals or altering the taste, odour, or chemical composition of water.
